This place has to be top of our list as it is renowned for whipping up the best bravas in Barcelona. Bar Tomás can be found in the upper Sarrià district of Barcelona – a little further out of the realms of the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas, but definitely worth a visit – and is more often than not full to the brim with hungry fans queuing up for portions of potatoey goodness. An absolute favourite with locals, you may have to wait for a table here, but the delicious chunky wedges are definitely worth it! They also serve some excellent house wines to accompany, Elsa-blanco and Fred-tinto!
