Primavera Sound
When: 29. May to 04. June 2023
Where: Parc del Fòrum
From 29th of May to 4th of June one of Europe’s biggest festivals, the Primavera Sound, takes place at Parc del Fòrum. This year’s theme is “I will be your mirror” and as such the festival beckons you with the experience of a unique mix of Rap, Electronic beats, Latin Sounds, Indie and many more. Be sure to bring your friends and enjoy the huge variety of music on offer! Maybe you’ll find a new genre that you’ll fall completely in love with.

Brunch in the Park
When: Every Sunday from June to September
Where: Jardins de Joan Brossa in Montjuïc
In the months June until September, you will have the chance to feel the good vibes in the Jardins de Joan Brossa at Barcelona’s daytime festival Brunch in the Park. After a full week of activities, you will have the chance for a blasting last day of the week, every week. Together with your friends, new pals or holiday companions, you will listen to electronic beats played by internationally renowned DJ’s during the daytime so that you can start relaxed into the new week. Sónar Festival
When: From 15th to 17th June 2023
Where: Day: Fira Montjuïc – Night: Fira Gran Via L’Hospitalet
The well-known Sónar Festival is the pioneer of Barcelona’s festivals. From 15th to 17th of June 2023 the mother of festivals is back and awaits 40.000 people. The trendsetter will inspire you with Electronic and Alternative/Indie and HipHop sounds all day long. In the daytime, you will find the music playing at Fira Montjuïc, while in the night you can listen to it at Fira Gran Via L’Hospitalet. The locations are 15 minutes apart with the Metro L8. From being an underground festival at first, Sónar Festival has emerged to be one of the biggest events of Barcelona in the summer. Since 2013, the Sónar Festival also offers workshops, different talks and the opportunity to take part in some workshops, artistic installations to admire and exhibitions in the daytime locations.
Cruïlla Festival
When: From 05th to 8th July 2023
Where: Parc del Fòrum
This very special next festival first took place in 2005 and is back this year for three days of celebrating multiple music genres on the coast of Barcelona at Parc del Fòrum. Therefore, the Cruïlla Festival is an institution in the festival scene of Barcelona. It will take place from 05.-08.07.2023. Make sure to bring your sunscreen to this open air festival where you will dance in the sun and have a great view of the sea. Yet again, you will experience a great variety of sounds. For this very special festival, you have the opportunity to spend a day with a ticket for one day or even all four days for the full experience of art, music and comedy, that awaits you. Cruïlla is not like any other festival! Here you will also have the chance to see local art, as there will be a trade market where you can buy vintage clothes, art and food & drinks.
VIDA Festival
When: 29th June to 1st July 2023
Where: Masia d’en Cabanyes (Vilanova i La Geltrú)
Our last music festival is a very special one. VIDA Festival, meaning life in Catalan, welcomes 10.000 people each year to dance, jump, sing together with the bands, and have a wonderful time listening to Indie, Alternative, Rock and Pop music.
Surrounded by nature this festival stands for the protection of and the respect for the environment and is ambitious in sharing these values with its visitors. It takes place from 29th June to 1st July 2023 at Vilanova i La Geltrú, a coastal city about 30 minutes by train from Barcelona. Every year this festival has a great lineup with acts from all over the world performing.
The festival stands for environmental care and has the will to support local artists and the scene of Barcelona. The location will be illuminated with beautiful lights, there will be installations and every visitor has the chance to take a walk through the forest to the most characteristic stage El Vaixell. There will also be a family friendly area with an area for children but also good food and drinks for everyone.
