The Biggest Electro/Techno Festival Around
Dubbed one of the highlights of the European music festival calendar, Sónar has hosted some of the biggest names in the music biz over the years, from The Chemical Brothers to The Scissor Sisters, Carl Cox to Goldfrapp, and many more.
This year you will also get the chance to see artists such as A$AP Rocky, Bad Bunny, and Disclosure, just to name a few. With over a hundred acts set to perform, the 2019 edition of this world-renowned music festival is going to be amazing.
Sónar by Day
This musical showcase has two main events: Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, and is divided between two of Barcelona’s biggest events venues: The Fira de Montjuïc, and the Fira Gran Via.
It goes without saying that the atmosphere in Barcelona during Sónar is one charged with excitement as the thousands of fans just can’t get enough of those non stop spinning turntables.
Festival goers can also look forward to Sónar+D. This festival within a festival is a celebration of innovative technology and creativity. From workshops to ‘hackathons’, interactive installations to product demos, as well as some entrepreneurial initiatives, Sónar is far more than just a music festival!
A Three-Day Frenzy
With a lineup sure to satisfy even the pickiest of musos, and plenty in the way of visual and cultural arts, it should come as no surprise that organisers are preparing for more than 100,000 festival-goers.
