Guide to the Best views in Barcelona | Top Viewpoints

view-barcelona

The Barcelona skyline is one of exceptional beauty. From the deep blue Barceloneta waves, to the stunning distant mountains, there is so much to marvel at. In this Guide to the Best views of Barcelona, we will introduce you to the best spots the city has to offer, allowing you to make the most of the many incredible vistas available.

Mount Tibidabo

Mount Tibidabo is truly one of Barcelona’s most magnificent viewpoints. Located in the outskirts of the city up high in the sky, this spot is not one to miss.

Not only is Tibidabo the place to gaze out at the city below, it is home to a number of attractions also worth visiting. There is an amusement park at the top of the hill complete with many different rides. The most worthy of note perhaps is the big wheel which, when timed correctly, you can board and watch the sunset from a breathtaking vantage point.

Similarly, the Sagrat Cor Church, also atop Mount Tibidabo, is an incredible location to take in the views of the city. At 500 metres above sea level, this stunning church is an architectural wonder with unrivalled views.

Address: 08035, Barcelona

Check out our blog on The Best of Tibidabo in Barcelona for more information.

Park Güell

This iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of Barcelona’s most fabulous viewpoints. Park Güell is one of Gaudi’s true architectural masterpieces. The park is vast, with plenty to explore for all the family. Go to the main terrace, surrounded by beautiful mosaic design and gaze out at the city.

This location is well worth the visit. Gaudi’s house, the iconic Park Güell dragon and the Sala Hipòstila are just some of the treasures waiting to be discovered- all for around €10 a ticket.

Address: 08024, Barcelona

Bunkers del Carmel

The Bunkers del Carmel are quickly becoming one of the top spots in Barcelona to watch the sun set. With full 360 degree views of the stunning skyline, this spot is not one to miss on your journey to Barcelona.

Popular with both locals and tourists alike, the Bunkers del Carmel are completely free of charge and utterly spectacular. There are views as far as the eye can see from Barceloneta to Montjuic.

Check out our Guide to the Bunkers del Carmel for more information and where to find them.

Address: Via Laietana, 30, 08003, Barcelona

3) Panoramic Terrace at Hotel Colón

Located directly opposite the beautiful Barcelona Cathedral in the heart of the Gothic quarter, the Panoramic Terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail. There is often live music and entertainment going on down below so this bar is an exciting option to choose.
