History of Poblenou\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

El Poblenou is one of the neighbourhoods of the <\/span>Sant Mart\u00ed district<\/b>\u00a0in Barcelona.\u00a0<\/span>Originally called the “<\/span>Catalan Manchester<\/b>” because the area was mainly concentrated in <\/span>factories<\/b>, the Poblenou soon became an <\/span>industrial nucleus<\/b>.
