Elrow Barcelona Off Week

The event which needs no introduction, but we’ll give it one anyway. For the past eight years, Elrow has been working hard to position itself in the top bracket when it comes to parties and has been very successful in doing so. Their parties are now known worldwide due to their philosophy of entertaining in the most wonderful of ways.

Whether it be at their spiritual home in Viladecans (Barcelona) or their summer home at Space Ibiza, elrow’s joyful and exuberant signature has left many a mark on those lucky enough to have experienced it.

To celebrate OffSonar week in the city, Elrow are throwing a party with a special theme of Chinese New Year, that simply can’t be missed

Cruïlla Festival

This July, Cruïlla Festival returns to Barcelona for its 12th edition, and it is sure to be better than ever. Cruïlla prides itself on its musical variety; with its Catalan meaning of ‘crossroads’, the festival has an eclectic line-up, mixing different styles of music without prejudice. The people over at Cruïlla try to convey that this festival is more than just a crossroads though; it’s a meeting point for musical styles.

Performers across the weekend will take to one of five stages spread across Barcelona’s famous Parc del Fòrum, which will also be full of activities, circus, games, workshops and stalls from organisations with social projects, which gives Cruïlla Festival a true community feel and proves that it’s much more than music.

However, music is of course the main attraction, and this year Cruïlla festival boasts a superb line-up, with headline performances from Black Eyed Peas, Foals, Years & Years, and Bastille, this is surely set to be one of Barcelona’s best summer festivals.

When? 3rd-6th July

DGTL Festival

This August, DGTL will return to Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona for its 5th edition. Expect top DJs like Jeff Mills, Ross from Friends, Marco Carola, and Charlotte de Witte, just to name a few!

Festa Major de Gràcia

Known for being one of the biggest street festivals in Barcelona is the Festa Major de Gràcia. Taking place between 15th – 21st August, it’s a street festival in the older part of the Gràcia district in Barcelona. Around 17 streets are decorated by the residents and there are hundreds of activities to take part in, including concerts and parades.

The Gràcia Festival is all about Catalan traditions like parades, giants, castle building and fire-runs, but most of all, it’s a shining example of community spirit which also welcomes visitors.

It’s authentic, fun, colourful, and definitely worth a visit!

When? 15th-21st August

Where? Gràcia Neighbourhood
