Barcelona Night Tours

Get a taste of Barcelona after dark with a night tour of the city’s sights, sounds and cuisine. When the sun goes down on summertime in Barcelona, the day is only half way through and the Catalan comes to life in a different way. Now we all know that the city has a great nightlife scene, but today we want to show you some of the other ways you can enjoy Barcelona by night during the warmer months of the year.

Food Tours

 

Tapas & BeersDevour Barcelona

This young company has quickly gained notoriety in Barcelona for its “alternative and authentic” local tours. Tapas & Beers offers three night tour options: local tapas, craft beer or a hipster bar hop. In keeping with their company’s philosophy, tour groups are always small and strive to provide an authentic experience in Barcelona with a local guide. Tours cost 25€ to 69€  per person and include tapas and drinks.

 

Devour Barcelona

Learn about Barcelona’s traditions, history, and delicacies in this night tour devoted to keeping local business alive. Devour Barcelona not only takes guests to local delis, taverns and restaurants, they introduce guests to the locals behind the food. Barcelona night tour options include tapas & wine or tapas,taverns and history tours. Tours cost 85€ to 99€ and lasts 3 to 4 hours.

 

Bike Tours

Excursions BarcelonaExcursions Barcelona

Rated Tripadvisor’s number one bike tour three years running, this night bike tour in Barcelona is a proven way to have a great night and explore the city. The Excursions Barcelona tour starts off with an optional Flamenco show followed by a two hour ride through Eixample ending in a stop at the Magic Fountain. Riders also can also go for an electric bike. Tours range from about 22€ to 45€ depending on which option you choose.

 

Barcelona by Bike

This three hour bike tour explores many of Barcelona’s most popular neighborhoods. Riders go through Port Olímpic, near to the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter and many other areas ending in a viewing of the Magic Fountain. Barcelona by Bike tours cost about 25€ and include one drink.

 

Creepy Walking Tours

Ghost Night Walking TourGhost Night Walking Tour

An expert guide walks guests through the haunted dark paths of nighttime Barcelona, recounting stories of exorcisms and witchcraft in this two hour ghost tour. The tour creeps through the city visiting the Arc de Triomf, Church of Santa Maria del Mar, and some of the haunted places mentioned in the book Fantasmes de Barcelona, by Sylvia Lagarda-Mata. Tickets are about 14€ per person.

Runner Bean Tours: The Dark Past

Though Runner Bean warns this is not a ghost tour, the tour explores the dark past of the Barcelona streets in the El Born neighborhood. Guests will hear about the history of medieval punishments, cemeteries and the Spanish Inquisition. The Dark Past Tours last about 2 hours and cost 15€ per person.

 

Walk Through Tours

La Pedrera By NightLa Pedrera by Night

Casa Milà (or La Pedrera) is one of Antoni Gaudí’s many marks left on Barcelona. The magnificent building is lit up at night with an audiovisual show called The Origins. Guests can tour the building and view the light show created as a journey through art. La Pedrera by Night tickets are 39,50€ for adults and 19,75€ for children.

Similarly, Casa Batlló also offers a night tour and drinks on the terrace during the summer months with its ‘Magic Nights’ program.

 

The Gothic Quarter by Night

View the medieval architecture and charming streets of the Gothic Quarter with this tour of Ciutat Vella. The tour admires buildings such as Santa Maria del Pi, Santa Anna, and the Gothic Cathedral. One option includes a drink on the rooftop terrace of a hotel that overlooks the Gothic Quarter. The Gothic Quarter by Night tickets are 25€ to 50€ per person depending on option chosen.

 

Bus Tours

 

Bus TurísticBus Turístic

As the official sightseeing tour provider of Barcelona, Bus Turístic has been doing tours since 1987. Years of experience in Barcelona make them a good option for a night tour. Their night tours run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer and last about 2 hours. Sit on the top of the bus to feel the cool night breeze along with the beautiful lights of the city passing next to you. The tour starts in Plaça Catalunya and stops at the Magic Fountain. Tickets are 19€ for adults and 10€ for children.

 

Barcelona Guide Bureau

An air conditioned private bus will take you for a two hour tour through Barceloneta, Port Olímpic, and the Magic Fountain on this Barcelona night tour. The tour goes alongside much of Barcelona’s waterfront allowing a night tour view of both city lights and ocean. At the end of the tour, the bus can drop you off near your accommodation. Barcelona Guide Bureau tickets are 30€ for adults and 15€ for children.
