Packed with hidden gems including quirky boutiques, fascinating vintage stores and chic beauty salons, you will also find various superb places to eat and drink. Moritz is internationally renowned and thanks to its Catalan roots, the most popular beer of choice by Barcelona locals. There are various Mortiz bars and restaurants spotted around Barcelona for you to enjoy. The Moritz bar in Sant Antoni can be found next to their brewery which you are welcome to have a wonder around.

If you’re a beer lover, this is a top pick for you during your time in Barcelona. If you’re more of a wine connoisseur, there is also a wine bar serving over 400 vinos which are available to try inside. Tapas is also served here, which you can enjoy on their beautiful terrace where you can to take advantage of the glorious Mediterranean weather.

Inside this quirky bar, you’ll find a range of books by Pere Calders, a fabulous range of draught beer and a wide selection of tasty tapas dishes. The outdoor terrace is perfect for catching some rays, but trying to find a free table, especially in the summer months, can be rather tricky. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

If you want to try a couple of tasters to get a feel for the local cuisine and delicacies, why not sample their selection of vermouths or try their tapas and mini pizzas. They often have live music shows which add to its already vibrant atmosphere. This place is a must when in the Sant Antoni area!

Tucked away in Viladomat, you will find the quaint Bar Nostalgic. With only 3-4 tables, this Sant Antoni bar can only accommodate a small amount of people.

On the up side, you can find a large selection of Catalan wines here, as well as an extensive list of spirits and beers on draught. Delicious and tempting tapas and appetisers are also served here, because who doesn’t enjoy something to nibble on alongside their drink! To get to know the true Sant Antoni, make sure you pop into this place, even if it’s just for a drink.

This cosy bar in Sant Antoni is extremely popular with locals and you can certainly see why with its lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Why not pop in for a quick drink or try their range of vegan/vegetarian friendly dishes and tapas. Their baba ganoush is simply to die for!

The cinnamon dusted coffee is also highly recommended and at only 1,50€, what’s stopping you? There is a patio just outside the restaurant making it the perfect place to relax for a midday drink.

Its fantastic selection of ice cream and scrumptious smoothies make this place well worth visiting and certainly the place for you if you have a sweet tooth!

This funky eatery is situated in central Sant Antoni on Ronda de Sant Pau and is open for both breakfast and brunch. There is a tasty choice of sandwiches available as well as multiple tasty sweet treats. They also offer culinary workshops and catering events for both adults and children.

    We rented an apt. In this area for one month! Thanks for the memories! It is a great place and your blog has some great info. Lots to see and do the market Sant anton for food and clothes is amazing! So many little restaurants and bars! While we were there three new places opened! Exciting area! The people are amazing we had people actually stop what they were doing or going and walk us to a place we enquired about introduce us to the staff as a friend and continue their journey! So helpful! Love Barcelona!
